Webkinz are soft toys manufactured by the Ganz Company, New York. They are stuffed animals and each one comes with a special secret code. These toys can be bought in stores all over the world. The special codes allow customer to access the virtual ‘Webkinz world’. Here the users can have a virtual version of the pet which they can nurture and interact with. The user also gets an online virtual room and 2000 Kinzcash with which they can redecorate their room and also buy furniture and special items.

Webkinz codes

Each Webkinz accessory and toy is assigned a unique eight-character code. This code is used in registering at the virtual Webkinz world which allows adoption of a virtual pet. The Virtual pet can also be assigned a name and gender by the user. The access is thus limited for only owners of Webkinz toys. Registering at the site gives a one year validity period into the Webkinz world. At the end of a year, a new pet can be ‘adopted’ at the Webkinz world which will extend the validity to one more year. The more the number of toys, the more pets, rooms etc the user can have. But the validity time period is not cumulative. Hence no matter how many pets are ‘adopted at once, the extension time period is only one year.  Also there are feature codes that are unlocked at the code shop. These feature codes come along with the trading cards and can be used once only. The user will never know beforehand what is about to be unlocked unless it is specified for a particular prize.

The user can earn more KinzCash by playing online games at Webkinz World. These games can be single player games like arcade games or multiplayer where the Webkinz owner can invite friends for a tournament. Users can also answer questions at Quizzy’s Question Corner and enter a variety of fun contests and trivia. KinzCash is spent at W shop to buy furniture and clothes for your pet. Webkinz cheats

The increasing demand for KinzCash and entertainment has lead to the discovery of certain cheat codes. These cheat codes allow the user to buy items, adopt more pets or increase their KinzCash. Hence it allows the user to increase their wealth by not earning it. Webkinz authorities do accept to the existence of such codes but also warn that cheat code users’ account will be deleted if caught cheating.

Most of these cheat codes involve typing a key code at a particular place and logging off for a few hours. It is said that logging back into the account later will find many special items or pets as the particular cheat code is responsible for.

Webkinz recipes

 The hunger meter indicated at the left lower corner of the window should always be kept at optimum for maintaining the pet happy. Decrease in the hunger meter indicates hunger. Webkinz virtual pet needs to be ‘fed’ regularly. This is done by visiting the Food section of the W shop at the Webkinz world. Then, just like any other shopping, the list of articles to be bought are added to the cart and bought. Webkinz has lots of recipes from which the ‘adopted’ pets can be ‘fed’. The recipes can be basically dived into Stove/Cauldron/ Grill Cauldron recipes, Sandwich maker Webkinz recipes and Blender recipes.

Some of the recipes are Asparagus and Fish sticks and Jelly makes an Aquarus jelly .Cherries and chocolate bar make a Black forest sandwich and ice-cream, milk and toffee makes a Cara- Milkshake. These recipes each have come with their own hunger, happy and health boost.

 

Webkinz seems to be the latest craze among the children today. Every kid dreams of owning a virtual pet and nurturing and caring for it like a real one. In this way they not only learn the responsibility associated with handling pets but can also improve their educational skills. However increasing addiction to internet, certain login problems and not to mention strain to the young user’s eye continues to remain the primary concern of parents
